(AJC) Georgia’s School Superintendent-elect Richard Woods is supporting Governor Nathan Deal and First Lady Sandra Deal’s request of Georgians to join them in “With a Servant’s Heart: A Day of Service” at seven locations throughout the state today, leading up to Deal’s inauguration on Monday.
The Georgia Department of Education is hosting a book drive of new children’s books from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today for children at the City of Refuge, 1300 Joseph E.
