It's essential that Georgia educators are fully supported and fairly compensated.

We must support those who support our students -- our teachers.

Currently, Georgia teachers in the first two years of their career and those with more than twenty-one years of experience receive flat pay -- they are not eligible to receive any step increases on the state salary scale.

That's wrong.
