Tackling Teacher Burnout

From raising pay and reducing testing to pushing for 'compassion over compliance' during the pandemic, I've fought to support those who support our kids -- but we can't stop there!

Over the last several months, we convened the 2022 Georgia Teacher of the Year finalists and representatives from Georgia’s teacher organizations to discuss the causes of teacher burnout and the supports teachers need.

Chaired by the Georgia Teacher of the Year, this task force will be releasing a report with findings and concrete action steps to address this issue.
