February is Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) Month in Georgia -- thank you CTAE students and teachers!
Our students are learning technical skills in high demand fields.
Under my leadership:
Provided emergency funding to our student camps and organizations to keep them operating during the pandemic
Provided emergency funding to cover extended day/year for CTAE teachers
Created customized CTAE pathways to meet the emerging needs of business and industry
Expanded ag programs into elementary schools
Created an Economic Development Liaison position and Economic Development certification for school districts
98% graduation for students who complete a CTAE pathway
